The Gloria Maris Hotel, is an Excellent Family run Hotel with 66 rooms and 2 suites quietly situated in Porto Koukla a small secluded resort right on the beach.  The hotel is surrounded by countryside and olive groves, set in its own tropical gardens perched above the perfectly clear waters of Laganas Bay giving you the feeling that you are in a tropical paradise.

Gloria Maris offers accommodation in hotel rooms on a Self Catering, Bed & Breakfast or Half Board Basis and for that special occasion there are two luxurious suites.  All Hotel rooms have their own private facilities, piped music, telephone, balcony or terrace.  (Fridges can be hired at a small charge paid locally).

Self catering accommodation has a small kitchenette, fridge, private facilities, balconies or terrace, telephone and piped music.  All accommodation is double glazed with mosquito screens.

Guests booking the Hotel rooms either on a Bed & Breakfast or Half Board Basis have their meals served buffet style in the Votsala Restaurant with its terrace overlooking the sea and Marathonissi. 

Gloria Maris Hotel has its own swimming pool with pool bar, sun terrace patio with free sun loungers and umbrellas.

Steps in front of the hotel lead down to a narrow sandy beach which has sun beds, umbrellas on a daily small charge, pedaloes, canoes for hire and special boat trips to Marathonissi (Turtle Island).

Just above the beach you will find the Tropics beach bar which is a real delight where snacks are available in the day time and in the evening this lovely little bar becomes a candlelit cocktail bar where you can enjoy a drink in a relaxing atmosphere with the sea just below you.

The resort has a couple of mini markets and tavernas. The Swimming pool at the Gloria Maris is Open to all and the pool bar and cafeteria are the perfect place with gorgeous views for a relax evening as well or a meal at its Greek Taverna. Once or twice a week a Greek night with Greek dancing is a must while on holidays in this gorgeous resort.
